James was born in London and grew up in the southeast of England. Spending his informative university years looking at the world through the bottom of a pint glass, his views are predominately amber-tinted.
Working in IT for the last 22 years, he could write a number of books on the wild-west days of the internet and early internet companies in the late 90’s early 2000’s, but no-one would believe the stories. So, he focused on fiction and believable non-fiction instead.
Being a Scout leader means he has a healthy appreciation for satire and humour as it tends to be the only way of getting through to the little blighters. A unhealthy appetite for fire-pits and any meat cooked over an open fire means that James thinks of himself as an adventurer, backwoodsman and all round good chap.
